The blades are 19mm in thickness and 5m in length. ABS CONSTRUCTION PLASTIC SHELL, RUBBER COATING The outer shell of the tape is made of ABS material. ABS is short for acrylonitrile butadiene styrene. This is polymer is famous for its hardness, gloss and electrical insulation properties. ACCURACY OF MEASUREMENT +-0.2MM The tape has precise marks for measurements and gives accurate measurements up to +-0.2mm. EASY TO LOCK The tape locks itself when it has reached the precise point of measurement. This allows a smooth motion and prevents quick retraction. LONGER LENGTH The tape has variable lengths, the longest being 5 m. This makes it versatile to be used in many tasks.
